WORLD WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY

Astrid Salling 2© Lena Paaske

Since 2005, World Wide Knit in Public Day has become the largest event of its kind organized entirely by knitters.  What began as a small spark of an idea by Danielle Landes has now grown into thousands of groups gathered together in public places on one particular day each year to socialize and enjoy a common interest.

This year on June 18th, please join us at Annie Williams Park in Bracebridge from 1 to 5 pm for WWKIP Day.  Bring a lawn chair, water, sunscreen and most importantly, your latest knitting project!  We will have games, prizes, a Learn To Knit corner and much more.  Bring a knitted square of any size to contribute to our future yarn bombing.
