Delphinium Cowl
What would a summer garden be without these vividly blue grand dames swaying in the breeze? Inspired by a friend's garden and the majestic beauty of delphiniums in bloom here is my latest design featuring two skeins of exquisitely hand dyed merino fingering from Rhichard Devrieze.
This design is knit on straight needles in a pretty panel trio of lace, texture and a combination of tiny bobbles and twisted stitches to resemble delphiniums. The scalloped edging is knit in as you go and there are no seams to finish, stitches are grafted together at the end. Carry your memory of a summer garden with you all year.
Wear it as a long infinity loop or wrap it twice around for a cosy cowl. Pattern available in store or as an e-pattern.
