MKAL RECAP

Well....... it has been a fabulous adventure starting in July, when our Yours Truly, Summer MKAL kicked off at our first Knitter's Picnic.  Who knew adding an element of mystery into a Knit A Long would cause such a flurry of needles to start madly clicking away.

The colour combinations chosen were gorgeous, after all they were hand painted by our favorite yarn dyer Rhichard Devreize, (also known as Merino Wizard) but to see how they blended together so artistically in this shawl project was simply magical! Many knitters were inspired to start a second, third or even fourth MKAL project!  Just think of all those beautiful gifts ready to wrap up in three months from now.

Here are a few of the finished projects-

    1. The shawl with the fringes was one of our MKALers interpretation. She used her leftover cols. and combined them to make fringes along the edge of the finished shawl.
