Wild Berries Shawlette

Do you remember berry picking as a child?  Those long hot summer days when it was a real treat to find a big old ripe patch of berries, and trying not to eat them as quickly as they were plucked off the branches.  Then heading home proudly swinging a pail of berries with stained fingers to show for all your hard work.

Wild Berries is a new crescent-shaped shawlette designed by Michele Meadows accentuated with a pretty lace border that transitions effortlessly into garter stitch with short row shaping.  The cast off edging is a tiny row of berries lined up as a delicate edging across the neck and shoulders.  This design is knit with two skeins of 'grey granite' hand painted merino by fabulous Ontario dye master, Rhichard Devrieze.

This design is available in-store or as an e-pattern.  Contact by phone at 1-800-894-1430 or email.
