New In Scarf Yarns

Last weekend we had a tremendous turnout at the Fall Fair in Bracebridge, the Ferris wheel was spinning, the largest pumpkin was on display, and the ribbons were being handed out for best knitting too.  I am not sure who won for largest pumpkin but I do know who received ribbons in the knitting categories.  Congratulations to Sandy Tutsch and Sandy McDevitt who both won with their intricate handknit creations.

If you were a fan of ruffle yarns last season, get ready for more ruffles, more fringes, and more pom poms, starting with the newest arrival in the bunch-

Reggae

Just one skein and a couple of hours later you will have a scarf ready to wear, or sew the ends together to make this trendy infinity loop, which can be worn long and loose or doubled over your neck for a cosy cowl.  Reggae is a soft boucle style yarn, with spiky fringes, and transitions through three shades from light to dark.  Available in teal, wine, and purple
