Whew...where has the time gone, wasn't it just September last week?? Now we are planning our Christmas knitting gift lists and an impending snowstorm is on the horizon. With just a matter of a few weeks to go til the old jolly guy appears in his bright red suit, we have put together some display ideas for quick to knit gifts. When you have time just drop in and see what you can knit in an evening or two.

There are so many choices this year, ruffle scarves remain the number one choice but cowls and wristwarmers are hugely popular too. Monkey hats are in demand for both kids and adults. The newest pattern book from Patons has added other great ideas to the monkey theme, such as- flip flop mittens, a handbag, slippers, and so much more.

If you are looking for ideas for a friend or family member who knits- there are some great new needles in stock now from Knitters Pride-

Symphonie DREAMZ are candy-coloured birch circular needles, each size is a different colour. How is that for super organization! We are converting over to the full range starting with 16 in, 24 in, and 32 in lengths. Cubics are just as lovely to look at as they are to hold, made from solid rosewood in a square design, customers tell us the grip is much easier especially for arthritic fingers, and in larger sizes, the feel of the needle is so much slimmer. We have double points as well as straights in stock now.

For the knitting connoisseur, this is something really special- a cigar style box with a complete interchangeable set of rosewood circular needles. In the first week we sold more than 6 sets! You may just have to wrap one up for yourself!
