Fair Isle is Fun!

Just passing through on a lovely sunshine-filled day with a new pattern book to peek at, it arrived this week from Patons, NEXT STEPS EIGHT, Fair Isle Knitting.  Not only does it have nine fabulous projects for first-timers to try, it also has a great step-by-step visual section showing how to strand colours, as well as knitting in the round, blocking and seaming your work.  The fair isle charts are all in colour which makes a huge difference for novice knitters.
