MARVELOUS MAY

We have finally seen the tail end of winter and it is full steam ahead for all the wonderful outdoor stuff that we have been itching to do from gardening to home renos, hiking to boating, and planning summer road trips too.

Speaking of heading out on the open road....... Did you know?  We are participating in an exciting NEW event, a yarn crawl!!  Yes, that's right... from June 9th to September 3rd, so fasten your seatbelts and fill up the car with fibre-loving friends, its going to be a really fun summer.

This is the inaugural year for the
COTTAGE COUNTRY YARN CRAWL- a great way to introduce you to eight wonderful shops in our neck of the woods, Muskoka, Haliburton and Kawartha area.  Experience the unique ambience each yarn shop has to offer, discover new products, get your passport stamped at every store for entry into our grand prize draw, collect your FREE limited edition crawl button and CLUES for our Mystery Crawl Cowl, connect with other fibre enthusiasts, all the while exploring the area with friends and family who decide to join you on the journey.  Check out the COTTAGE COUNTRY blog right here for all the details and to print off your passport.  Once you have your passport in hand, take some time to plan out your route.  This is a self-guided tour and with more than two months to crawl through cottage country you will have plenty of opportunity to check out each and every store along the way at your leisure.  We will also be posting shop special events, plus recommendations for lunch and interesting sightseeing options to make it a really fun outing.

Happy Crawling!
